The MASSACHUSETTS WILDLIFE FEDERATION, INC. is an
independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and wildlife habitat through comprehensive natural resource management and through a variety of compatible activities.  The Federation promotes and advises on educational and legislative programs addressing issues which affect wildlife habitat and environmental quality, primarily but not exclusively, in Massachusetts
The Massachusetts Wildlife Federation is comprised of a broad cross-section of individuals and associations that care about conservation in Massachusetts.  Members serve on several of the state's fisheries and wildlife, coastal and marine and conservation education committees.

MWF alerts its members about state and federal initiatives through Updrafts, its quarterly newsletter and through a monthly page in Northeast Woods and Water.  Each year MWF hosts two open meetings one to inform members and friends about a key wildlife issue, other to provide a forum where members and guests learn about wildlife related issues on Beacon Hill and on Capital Hill.
